amazing birds made of paper
These paper birds are designed by Dutch artist Johan Scherft.
All the birds are lifesize, and very realistic in colour and detail.
The birds are made from thin ‘bankpost’ paper, and handcoloured with aquarel and gouache.
In a few cases the designs are etched. In this way the artist can make a few birds, using the same design.
